Help Me Choose 3 of the 4 MLB Expansion Teams in 2027.
I am expanding MLB by 4 teams to have 36 teams in 2027. One of the Teams will be the Montreal Expos. I need 3 more ideas. If you make uniforms i will need several for each team along with logos. Teams do not have to be limited to North America but must be able to sustain a ML team. Let's say you choose Cooperstown, NY. Give me a reason why it would sustain a ML team in 2027.

I would add teams to both Mexico City and a post-democratic revolution Cuba, becoming part of a South division. I think there will be enough ideas for Mexico City floating around, but for Cuba, I can imagine a storyline about how baseball became a part of the democratic revolution in Cuba.
A young, insanely talented and popular player came up in Cuba in 2024, amids the ever-growing popularity in baseball in Cuba due to the influence of the cuban players in the US. Not willing to give up the dream of playing in the MLB, he tried to defect, but was shot along with his girlfriend as they tried to commandeer a boat. This sparked major outrage in a population already at the breaking point, and led to a democratic revolution, called the "Baseball Revolution." Two years later, in 2026, the revolution is long over. Under the first hispanic US president, a lot of economic aid was given to Cuba, leading to an economic boom. Also booming in Cuba was the sport of baseball, as the prominent role of the sport of Baseball in the fight for democracy led to many young people wanting to follow their idol. Calls were made for Cuba to get a team in the upcoming 2027 expansion, and several active Cuban players said they would like to play for such a team. MLB obliged, and so the Cuba Freedom Fighters/(insert spanish translation here) were born, based in Havana. The number worn by the young martyr will be the first retired number of the team (take the most talented Cuban in the international free agent draft and pretend that he was the one shot) Special provisions allow Cuban players to join the team during the expansion draft, the clubs losing those players will be compensated by draft picks. Uniforms will be red for the fight of the revolutionaries, and the symbol could be a baseball bat and a rifle crossed?

Check out this link. Somebody asked a similar question a few years ago and I gave a decent reply. Since then, I have actually acquired all logos, jerseys and caps associated with my suggestions that I can upload once able.
You may even want to add Santo Domingo to that list. Although, I do not know enough about the amount of potential income that would be present in that area. Havana could be a good option as well. Edit: Ha! Looking back at the thread, I think you even thanked me in that post!

I added the Havana Revolucion and the Vancouver Lotus when I expanded. I think Mexico City would be another good choice.

I'll see if irrecula can do up some Rebels jerseys or Warriors. Thread is still open to ideas but Havana Sugar Kings would be nice. Portland to the AL West. Havana to the AL East. Mexico City to the NL West & Montreal to the NL East.
