changing to a downloaded skin

I go to the game setup screen and click select skin. The skins I've downloaded appear on the list, but when I click on one, it remains on the current skin.

You guys/gals have any ideas as to what I can do?

You have to make sure that the skin files are in a XXXX.skn folder in the graphics folder of the game.

i found out what it was....I had it ask xxx.skn folder, with all the other files inside the folder located in another folder..thanks
