Why does 'Career Fielding' stats not cover minor league fielding stats of some players?

Simple question here, why does career fielding statistics not cover minor league fielding stats for some players?

It always is someone who got drafted after the creation of the game, for example Peter O'Brien has all of his stats tracked (probably from BaseballRefrence) while newly drafted Carter Kieboom only has his 3B statistics from this year tracked.

Why is this? I guessing its a programming issue of some sort, but if your able to permanently keep MLB fielding stats permanent, why can't everyone's minor league stats be tracked?

My career minor league stats are kept for all players. Have you checked your game settings?

Game settings>player & facegen> stat settings

There is a box to set OOTP to save for "MLB stats only" or "Keep All"
