Need Help Thinking of Team Names

I am re-creating a completely fictional world, but need help with thinking of team names. The fictional world, Klewshire, is an island off the coast of England if that is any help. Below is the map (split into the four sub leagues) of the island and cities I will be using/selecting from.

It doesn't seem like European teams use nicknames much. I could be wrong. Go with the soccer vibe...

You could also start with soccer-style club names and then add nicknames slowly over time based on the teams' characteristics. For example, if one team tends to hit a lot of homers every year, you could give them the nickname of the Sluggers or something. Or give them a nickname based on a star player (like how before they were the Indians, Cleveland was called the Naps after Nap Lajoie).

Would also be nice to know the final details of your league as far as league names, divisions and such.

I always love seeing how you guys set up your fictional worlds.

Love to "steal your ideas and team names".

I'm working on finally setting up the game within OOTP. I will be doing some test simulations to make sure I like the settings before I really dig in. I will be starting with 12 teams in 1940 and slowly expanding to 24 teams when I start the 2016 season.
