Shopping players

Just curious. Is anyone still having problems shopping players? I have positive financials, but even when I experiment by setting trading on easy, I get no responses.

Depends on what player you're shopping.
If you're shopping a heavy salary type, no one is going to buy.

It's happening with all players, regardless of salary, and I've tried every trading setting from easy to hard and the results are the same.

I have problems trading guys too...usually when I try to trade them its because they aren't doing well.
I have problems shopping a player and getting the same 8 guys offered back to me. It is somewhat bothersome that I cant get a team to offer a crappy low level Minor Leaguer back to me for a MLB talent who is making minimum.

It stands to reason that if you would rather have a crappy, low level minor leaguer than the min salary MLB "talent", most if not all GMs would feel the same way.

Why pay for your guy when they've got a system full of "talents" they could try out without the added ML service time your guy has.

Food for thought

i'd re-install the patch, maybe?

it's been working fine for me. I've actually used it more than normal lately. i never use their offer, so i can't say when i click it that it the trade completes, but the list is populating as expected.

if they are rated well, and their recent performance is causing negative effects you do not like, try changing AI Evaluation to include less stats or change the proportion of those weights. despite what the consensus is in the forums, a high amount of stats is just going to make gm decisions more volatile and less likely to be the best thing to do. simple side effect of using small samples sizes with larger %error... a little bit is "life-like" but too much and the game doesn't make very many good decisions.
