AI Trading Seems to Underweight Cash

I noticed that when trading - at any difficulty level - once the AI likes a trade, I can almost always just add however much cash is left with the AI team. For example, it an AI team is satisfied with the trade and suppose the AI team has $15 million in cash, I then go back and adjust the trade to now ask for the same players and then also ask for cash of $15 million and it will still accept.

Anyone else notice this?

If this is the case, it might be nice to have a function or setting where you can limit the amount of cash that can be traded between teams.

I thought it had stopped doing this...I don't know if it was re-introduced in the latest update. I had noticed this a couple of months ago...but then after an update about a month or so again, it seemed to have stopped doing this. Either it was never adjusted, or it's back...not sure which.

What I'm struggling with is do I use "Hard" or "Average with more weight on AI ratings evaluation" I did a few mock trades (not actually executing them, but just seeing what the AI would accept) offering the same exact players. What I noticed is that "Hard" seems too unrealistic, but "Average" is too easy. If you use "Average" but then adjust AI to evaluate higher weighting on ratings, then it will require more - such as an extra player on your end.

The thing I'm wondering, if you adjust the AI setting to put more weight on player weightings (vs. stats) then do you do something to the AI logic in evaluating lineups, starting rotation, etc.?

I use the average setting with my AI evaluation at 55/25/15/5...and I feel it creates a pretty good balance, but takes scouting grades heavily into consideration...10 percent less than the default though.

Edit: but this was with what I considered to be near perfect trade AI..not sure if it was adjusted again after complaints of it being to hard on average. I hope it wasn't...I'll try to get a look/see when I get home.

i don't trade cash much, so i can't be sure this is helpful... but, relative to some of the other things you touched on, make sure scouting is 100% accurate with ai eval on, so that the differences in scouting isn't clouding what you are trying to figure out.

when i do something like that, i restore from a fresh backup, just in case those 100% accurate re-scouting reports affect the AI Evaluations for the next 3 years. -- just to be clear, i am not sure if that is a real issue, insignificant or completely non-existent.
