Please explain this to me.

This is in a solo league.

I get a trade offer from a computer team. They offer me their player A and player B for my player C. Sounds close, perhaps we can negotiate something.

I close the offer email and go immediately to the trade window. I select the same players, their player A and player B for my player C.

The game says "This trade would hurt our team. We won't trade player A".

This is not logical. This is not right. It looks like trades are run thru a random acceptance generator.

Are the people at .400 aware of this bug and is it being addressed.

The .400 folks are well aware that the Trade AI needs work.

Thank you for your knowledgable and insightful comment. It adds much to the discussion.

However, I do not agree with you that they understand just how feeble and lacking it is at times.

Since it has been that way a long time, I cannot assume they are aware of the depth of the problem.

But perhaps you know more than me? Stranger things have happened.
