Suspended List?
I don't know if I've just been misinterpreting screens, but I feel like I've seen computer teams put players who have been suspended on a supsended list that allows them to free up a roster spot. Does this exist? If so, how do I access it?

As of now, there is no restricted or suspended list in OOTP. The suspended player will have to remain on your team or risk losing him by waiving him. I assume that a suspended list will be implemented in the future.

It's not elegant, but the best solution I've found is commissioner-moding an "injury" for your player then putting him on the DL to free up a roster spot. You'll have to go back and change the time on the DL to the length of the suspension or else he'll be out for 15 days.
Like I said, not elegant, but effective...

If the suspension is the result of player insubordination, misconduct, violation of club or league regulations or the player's contract, then the suspended player counts against both the 40-man and 25-man active roster for the duration of the suspension. Furthermore, a player on the suspended list for the foregoing reasons cannot be waived while suspended. If the player is suspended due to a PED violation, then the player does NOT count against either the 40-man or 25-man active roster. (Technically, the player goes onto the restricted list, but in common parlance it's called a suspension.) Note that with the addition of the MLB licence to OOTP, the game no longer directly recreates suspensions due to PED violations. |
