Triple Play or Rare/Weird plays?

Just curious if anyone has ever seen one. I can't say I have, despite the 100's of seasons I've been through with the game. Also, I haven't seen any rare or weird plays either so I'm thinking those probably aren't in the game. Might be a nice addition to a future edition if that's the case.

I think I had a stepped on third - out, throw to second - out, throw to first - safe almost triple play once. Therefore I guess it is programmed, just onlly rare.

I've had a triple play once. I believe it was a line out to the second baseman, with runners on first and second who started advancing too far. Second baseman stepped on second and threw to first for the triple play. It was with 17, so I got to see it play out.

There are a few other rare plays in there, but they only come up rarely.

My league has also had only one perfect game over 12 seasons. It was thrown by my team's star, so I got to watch every play of it.

I've had at least a half-dozen triple plays turned against me in my various leagues. It happens on hits to the OF with surprising frequency (compared to GB/LD to the IFers), but I believe this is because I tend to use the "Run and Hit" option to try to stay out of traditional GIDP. It works as a general rule, with the occasional outlier triple play consequence.

Do players ever get caught in a rundown? (even if it's not shown in 3D, is there a commentary branch for it?). This is something I'd really like to see.

Yes, but very rarely. Should be more often.
