Shirt Hard Right?

I noticed there are hard shifts to the right in the in-game menu options, but no hard shifts to the left. Why is that?

I figured it was a typo, but shift wasn't the word I was thinking was correct.

because the normal configuration is already a shift for righty batters - on top of the greater need for a warm body at first base.

the pitcher can get there before nearly all batters, though. so, it wouldn't be too big of a deal, if the guy refused to adapt to the shift.
