Caps and Jerseys Not Working
Hello all. I spent the last week or so putting together all of the graphics for a new league, finally found the perfect jerseys and caps (thanks in large part to all of you fine folks!), but for some reason the game refuses to load them.
I'm not sure what the issue is, are there any common mistakes I might be making? They're all 512x512, and they're all PNG. One thing I've noticed is that when I look at the jerseys that ARE in my game, they show as "Portable Network Graphic Image", as opposed to just saying PNG like mine do. Might that be the problem? All of my logos were accepted, with the exception of my league logo, which the game also refuses to take. Any ideas guys? Advice would be much appreciated. |

Why don't you post the league logo and a couple of the unis that aren't working so we can look at them...

I figured it out this morning, actually. I ended up going in-game and manually assigning them from the files, and then generating new player pictures now.
Thanks for offering to help though, Tx. All of your graphic work that I've seen has been tremendous. |

You shouldn't HAVE to do it manually, as long as the files are named correctly.
For example, The structure for team logos is: city/state_nickname_year_primary color_secondary color cedar_rapids_reds_d50032_ffffff anaheim_angels_1997-2001_1329AF_DA291C minnesota_twins_2010_000000_FFFFFF You can also not specify years or colors, but then OOTP wouldn't change the team colors, and might use "generic" colors instead. Additionally, you can specify secondary logos in the same way, like so: san_diego_padres_small (or _small_50) san_diego_padres_2015_small The structure for caps is: caps_toronto_blue_jays (for home caps) caps_toronto_blue_jays_away (for road caps) caps_Oakland_Athletics_1968-1969 caps_Oakland_Athletics_away_1968-1969 caps_Oakland_Athletics_away_1993 The structure for jerseys are the same as caps, but with the prefix of jerseys_ instead of caps_ jerseys_cincinnati_reds (for home jerseys) jerseys_cincinnati_reds_away (for road jerseys) jerseys_Cincinnati_Reds_1910 jerseys_Cincinnati_Reds_1968-1971 jerseys_Cincinnati_Reds_away_1971 jerseys_Cincinnati_Reds_away_1972-1987 If years are specified in the file name, then OOTP will use the files that match the year of the season of the file you have loaded. As long as your files are named as above, then OOTP should pick them up automatically and you shouldn't have to do any more "manual" import of the team graphics. |

Well, that didn't last long. The jerseys and caps have all stopped working -- maybe you guys can find the problem. Here are a few examples of my jerseys/caps:
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I believe they're named properly; I only have one jersey/cap for team so they don't reference colours or home/away, but they're all named jerseys_city_team, for example jerseys_edmonton_jackrabbits or caps_edmonton_jackrabbits. |
