Search by Draft year
The ability to search by draft year to assess how each years draft class has fared. You can currently look at the past drafts but in listing all MLB players it would be nice to check out the progression of all players in each draft class

Not a bad idea. For minimal effort and return on that effort, at least a list of 1st-round picks.

I can get behind this idea.

You can already do this.
Go in history. Pick a year. In headers will be drafted or something like that. All players drafted and up to date stats are listed. |

It might also be nice to have an easier way to search for team leaders other than filtering only those with very high Leadership and going through them one by one.

Yes, I'm aware that exists. But that's not what the OP is asking for. I believe (or at least, I think it would be a good idea) the OP is asking to have draft year be a filter field in the "Find a Player" tab.

Well, that, too, I think. I understood it just to be "Where are they now?" kind of tab and it makes sense to me to look primarily at top picks and all in one place. Is that history link league-wide or team? I'm having trouble recalling.

It's league-wide, and non-searchable. It lists all the position players in draft order with stats, then pitchers. Players that didn't sign don't appear.
