Historical with minor league affiliates?
I remember reading where OOTP17 would allow you to run a historical league with teams developing accurate minor league affiliates through the years. Am I imagining this, or did it really happen? And if it is in OOTP17, how do I invoke it?

A couple words of caution. Historical minors appear in 1919 with the first minor league affiliates in the Texas League. PCL appears in 1921, if I remember correctly. If you play in those older years, be careful and make sure you switch the Rule 5 draft OFF in the majors. Otherwise, the game glitches and treats major leaguers on MLB teams that DO NOT have minor league affiliates as if they are eligible for the Rule 5 draft. You'll get superstars changing teams unreasonably. Once all MLB teams have at least 1 affiliate, this problem disappears. I don't remember what year that occurs. Sometime in the 30s or 40s, I think. Anyway, be careful about that.
