Does anyone have a better Cole Hamels than the stock OOTP17 fg? I've been trying to make one to no avail.

Can you please post your request in the Facegen thread so that if somebody does do it, it will be in the central place and not get lost?

What's wrong with the default, if I may ask? I don't think it's terrifically likely anyone will be able to improve greatly on it, it looks very much like him in my opinion

Cole Hamels being one of my favorite players (I watch all of his games) I just don't think it looks anything like him.

I've seen other people make alternate versions like with Noah Syndergaard, for example, so I figured I would check to see if anyone had a different Hamels facegen.

This might sound strange but to me Hamels' mugshot on mlb.com doesn't look like him or, at least, it doesn't resemble what Hamels' looks like in my minds eye.

Given no prior knowledge of Hamels I reckon most people would say this was two different guys...

Facegens can only really be done from profile pictures, therefore it's very difficult to capture Hamels with facegen. Doesn't help that he always goes clean shaven for the mugshot and then has a beard for most of the season either.

I guess Quinton's post was pretty much what I was trying to say. I agree with xtaylordx that Hamels generally looks different with his beard than in his mugshots, but it's just hard to make him look like that without a good profile pic where he has the beard.

Maybe try adding on a beard to his facegen in-game? I know I've done this before with players (Dale Thayer being the example that sticks in my mind right now).

I remember Quinton had a heck of a time finding a good Dale Thayer profile pick to use. Even with it, the facial hair wasn't right, so I just chose the closest bear in-game and it added it to the top of his picture.
