Help Editing Team History (Win/Loss records, etc)
Hello
![]() I'm new to OOTP. I played on sims for years (Microleague, Tony Larussa, and others). I had a fictional league I've been running for over 20 years and have brought the player info into OOTP 17. All is well on the player end. But I would like to edit the team history as well. Win/Loss records for past seasons, awards, etc. I see that those files can be exported to CSV files and edited, but I don't see any way to import those files. After searching the forums, I saw numerous posts about a modder named Redsoxford who created a program to do this, but the links to it are all bad. It seems he might be posting as Tony M now too, but I couldn't find any new links to the program he made. I've been searching the forums and the web for about 5 hours tonight and I've come up empty. Is there a way to edit this info? And if so how? Thanks in advance for the help! Albione |

Having that ability would be too tempting.

look through what you can import back into the game. if it is there, you can edit it.
match formats and do an easy copy/paste with a spreadsheet. don't edit key fields, though. any id, etc.. has to be the same as before. |

It can't be done, sorry.
If that program did exist it was for a really old version if the game and I'm pretty certain it wouldn't work on the current game. |

Confirmed. Our good friend Pierre use to have really cool stat editing utilities, but that was waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the OOTP2 or 3 days.

Thank you for the answers guys. I feared that might be the case.
NoOne, I've edited the pitching, batting, and fielding stats and those have showed up fine. I was hoping to edit things like Team History, Playoff Stats, etc which I don't see any way to import. Have you found a way to do that or were you just referring to the 3 files I already edited? |
