Importing to OOTP 17 from 15?

It seems that one cannot move a previous league from OOTP15 to OOTP17,
I was hoping to move a league over to run in new game but it cannot - any chance of a work around to have this happen?
It is hard get owners to update to new game every year or so, so we usually take off a year, it would be nice to have it have a slightly longer league importer from 2 issues ago.

Just random thoughts from someone trying to keep it going forward,

You can import 15 to 16, and then 16 to 17, and it should work.

If you do not have a copy of 16, I believe there should be a demo available on our website to download which can let you do the upgrade.

Thanks Matt, I did not upgrade to 16, held off a year. Will check web for trial/sample and see if I can make that work.
