Schedule for 2 leagues, no divisions, 162 games

I personally don't like how each team plays more games against divisional opponents than the rest of the league so I did this.

-2 leagues (AL, NL)
-no divisions (every one is competing against everyone in the sub-league)
-there still is interleage play
-balanced schedule
-162 games

However when I adjusted the settings to follow these ideas and created a new schedule weird things appeared on the schedule.

-the all-star game got moved to June
-off days are other days of the week, not just Monday and Thursday
-at least once a month there are consecutive off-days, sometimes 2 or 3 days off in a row

Does anyone know how I can play the way I want the league structured but also have a realistic schedule?

Thanks.

When you created the new schedule in-game, OOTP's in-game schedule generator took over... and it's safe to say it sucks. 150 games bug and all that stuff.

Anyway, it should be trivially easy to alter these schedules to a divisionless format.
