Multiple league nationalities?
Is it possible for a minor league to have multiple league nationalities? Or can we only restrict foreigners in a league based on either the ONE league nationality or the team nationality?
I'd like to setup a minor league where all the international discoveries and international amateur free agents can play, but it looks like I can only restrict it to one nationality. I don't want the recently drafted American players in the league, they belong the in the GCL and AZL. |

I think what you are saying is it would be handy to have another setting, maybe just below the team/league restriction pulldowns, that says "exclude players from:" with boxes you can check (like those in the default/draft/intl FA pulldowns).
I don't think there's a good way to do that. I suppose you could make a separate international league that doesn't have any American players in draft/default/international FA, then set the American league to not allow free agents to leave? But that would have to be unaffiliated or the major league teams would send US players there too. |

I think the International Complex is basically supposed to do that, international disocveries and free agents go there and although no games are played there, they still develop.

I actually think I figured it out. Below the league nation, there's an option to pick a region. If you pick the Caribbean region, the game won't let players from outside there play in the league. That is if you turn on the option to exclude foreign players in the league rules.

Under the rules tab for the league, make sure you have it set to limit foreign players based on league nationality. |

I used the Latin American region, but that shouldn't have been a problem since the DR is in that region.
I don't know why it didn't work for me. I'm certain I had limit on league nationality. Where you able to get non-Dominicans from the region (i.e. Puerto Ricans) still in the league, or was it Dominicans only?

Yeah with the Caribbean region, only players from these countries were in the league:
Venezuela Puerto Rico Panama Nicaragua Netherlands Mexico Guetemala Dominican Republic Cuba Columbia Brazil Aruba |

Is there an official list the names all the nations under a specific region?

I go into the world_default.xml file to see the countries in the region, and have in the past added in new regions, but I'm comfortable reading and editing XML.
