Schedules after an expansion

Are the preloaded schedules that come with game dynamic or linear?
I have noticed that the 2017 schedule is the exact same as it was in 2016.
I am currently playing a 32 team league.
Since they seem, to me, the same exact schedule, is there any mod or program that I could use to rebuild a schedule that would change from year to year?

I have noticed that too and I was hoping the schedules would rotate around a bit.
the only thing we can do as far as I know is to manually change the schedule in preseason.

That is what I was afraid of. Just time consuming to
have to do it manually.

Not really. In my 36-team league I have a set of six schedules that I rotate around from year to year. On the first day of the preseason I go into the league settings, erase the computer generated schedule and import the next one on my rotation. It literally (and I do mean literally) takes me ten seconds.

On the schedule forums you will find all the 32-team schedules you need. And if you don't, put in a request and someone will help you out.

Schedules are supposed to rotate or randomize match-ups automatically, depending on the configuration. See here.

It's best to use the "saved game naming convention" that's linked to on that page in order to more precisely control which schedule the game loads.
