Is there a way to tell which historical player is crashing a large text import.

Hello

I am working on creating a league w 4500 players (150/team so mlb/aaa/aa/a+/a teams would be filled)

I have imported to other leagues w no issues but for this league, the import crashes at 9% every time which has my thinking it might be one name crashing the import. I did use the id converter from BigRod and also made sure the team abbv on the import matches w each team in the game.

Also, I am importing from the historical database odb file in the stats folder which was included w the original game and the text file I am using to import is attached.

Any thoughts of what I should be looking for?

(The rosters are based off of players who had the most PA based on position for each of the 30 teams and for pitchers a combo of games started, games relieved, and years w team and season was based off of best WAR year (per fan graphs) that the player had w each franchise qualified for.

This is a project I would to share as a quickplay then update each season as new players would qualify.)

Your team abbrev are different than the OOTP defaults. Unless you changed them in game to match your file that could be it.

Thanks - That got me going in the right direction. I noticed it was team abbv of 2 letters such as sd, kc, and sf that were the main culprit so had to update in the game and text file to 3 letter abbv such as sdp,sfg and kcr.

The game imported all but about 50 guys and a few had ages over 50 so I just have to go through and see which were missed (prob typos), not too bad.

There is a good chance I will be able to start playing on this monster some time this week.

I will share this as a quick play beta once I get the rosters square.
