The questions behind Hot/Cold Streaks
Has anyone figured out how Hot/Cold streaks work in this game?
Are they randomly applied to players, and how long do they usually last? Is there a way to extend a hot streak or hault a cold streak? How much do they *actually* effect player attributes? |

I don't think hot and cold streaks are something which are applied to a player and give him a boost or make him play worse. I think they just flag whether a guy's recent performances have been particularly good or particularly poor.
I wish I did have any idea of how to extend a hot streak or halt a cold one! Depending on who he is, if a guy's on a cold streak I may move him down the order a bit or set him to play less regularly on the depth charts, or even demote him. Hot streakers I may move to a more important lineup spot and/or play more frequently, to try and take advantage of their good form. Guys definitely can't come out of a cold streak if you completely stop playing them, though.
