help - notifications for minor lg players off the DL

I recently created a new fictional league and now I am getting notifications every time a minor league player comes off the DL. I tried shutting off all notifications but then I didn't get notified when major league players were ready to return. I have tried turning off and on to no avail. It is very annoying having my game play stopped almost every day if I leave it on but if I shut if off I sometimes miss when my ML players are ready.

This is my 4th or 5th fictional league created and this has never happened before. Does anyone know what I might have done to cause this or how to fix it?
