Updating Display of Real Life Stats

I have an ongoing league I started with the 1975 players dumped into a draft pool. I am up to 1997 now and players are being added to the league who are still playing now, like David Ortiz and a few others. When I click on them and go to Real Life Stats, the last season showing is 2014 and not 2015. How can I update this so they show Real Life Stats through 2015? Thanks.

Are you playing OOTP16 or 17? If you're playing 16 the database file doesn't contain 2015 stats, since that version was released prior to the 2015 season.

If you're playing 17, well, it seems like the 2015 stats should be there.

I'm playing 17. I switched from 16 to 17 the day after my 96' season ended. Still not showing 15' stats for the few players around in 97' who played that long.

If a current player was added during your OOTP 16 days he does not get updated when you switch to 17. In your example this applies to your 1997 rookie class.

Thanks for the response. Is there anyway to fix this? I want to continue playing this league through the present.

I doubt it, because you created these particular players using a database that does not contain the data you want. It's the same reason when there's a patch they will say it's save game compatible, but if you want to take advantage of database updates you need to start a new game.
