Manager Mode Frustration

Argh! For the second time (you would have thought I would have learned the first time!), I have accepted an offered contract to manage a new team, only to realize that they had no scout on board - and no finances to hire a new one. There is nothing more frustrating than having to manage an entire season, including hiring free agents, drafting amateurs, etc. with no idea of what the players' ratings are!

I will learn eventually, I'm sure...

It's important to not just look at the expectations, salary offered, or even the current players on board, but the money you will have to work with as well.

I'm in my first season playing all games my self so I haven't gotten this far but can't you get to the league finance screen to look at all the teams before you decide?

Don't forget...even if you don't have funds you can sign coaches and scouts AFTER the regular signing period is over.

Doesn't work with players though...LOL

Hmmph!

I didn't view it as a bug at all... more my stupidity for not looking at the team's financial situation that I was considering devoting a few theoretical years of my life to.

Anyway, at least I'm not as foolish as I had thought if it is planned for revision in a patch!
