Installed All In One (from 2016) for OOTP17...?s

Well it took a while, but after waiting for quite some time,I updated (supposedly) over 17,000 new FaceGens. But upon seeing some of the supposedly new faces (modern and historical): I noticed an uncountable amount of incorrect races and face styles.For instance: Tommie Agee was Caucasian. And numerous beards on historical faces (for instance: 1927 players had a huge amount of bearded players, when I don't think a single player back then aside from Frenchy Bordagaray-sp) had a beard or a mustache.Now I can go back in and edit as many players as I want (changing races and beards,etc), but seeing as so many modern and historic players were incorrect....makes me wonder if I actually updated the facegens after all (using the lengthy upload time it took to supposedly do so).I also read on the Steam forum that I made the "wrong decision" purchasing OOTP17 through Steam (this was the first year I've played OOTP, as I've been a BBW-ABA baseball sim guy for years)...as the Steam version doesn't allow access to as many workbench (?) options, compared to if I had purchased the game through OOTP directly. Is this true? If it is, I can't go back and undo my purchase, so out of luck there.I DO love love love OOTp and wish I had discovered it long ago...

I am guessing the answer to that is no. I've been playing OOTP since number 4 and I went away from my normal routine and purchased it from Steam this year. I will not make that mistake again. I am not able to get photo's to work which is annoying as I really dislike the facegen. Anyway... looking past that and just playing that game as best I can. In a few month or more Franchise Hockey will be out...
