I'm giving this league another shot. I had it in OOTP15, but didn't really play it. I'm in the process of simulating from 1900 through the 2015 season and will be expanding along the way.

Is there a program that I allowed you to add the cities and team logos on the map?

I just used Microsoft Word and inserted text boxes and the logos.

you can get paint.net or gimp for free...
i suppose you could use the paint program, too.

Just a little question, do you create an all-fictional world so your players come from fictional cities or only the team and league is from your fictional world?

I set it so most of the original players and future players come from the fictional country.

i change the word-default.xml too. That way the players come from cities in the fictional world.

Yeah. I edited the world_default file so that it would always be available.

Adding a country and cities is a little complicated to explain.

The flag is easy, if you know how to find your database. Just edit an existing flag (i do this just to make sure it is the same size) and save it with the same initials as you give your country.

There should be a tutorial on editing the world default... Here it is!!!
