Player Pictures Issue

I recently reported this, and then found it was OK with a new patch. Now it seems to be back, and I can't say why. I sent a bug report (ticket 16102) 10 days ago but received no response other than from the automated service.

Player Pictures WAS working fine...but now... I get no player pictures for visitors. The pictures appear on the players profile page, but do not appear in the Game Screen.

I am using the Mac version purchased from the OOTP site.

I'm not sure what happened today. This issue didn't exist yesterday with this game, although I've seen it in the past (hence the ticket).
