Post Expansion, minor league teams do not generate schedules.

I posted in the wrong forum initially.

http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...-generate.html

But here's the scoop.

I started a real MLB season. Commish mode. Immediate league expansion of 2 teams. 1 to NL West. 1 to AL West. It creates the proper major league schedule, but the minor league teams for the 2 new teams, do not have any games scheduled.

I tried using the 'create fictional schedule' option and it complains about interleague play being on, it's not, and I must use a balanced schedule, I am.

I triple checked in league settings that those settings are as it's saying it wants them, but every time I try and generate a schedule, it throws the error.

Windows OS.

How is the minor league's structure affected? The structure must match an available schedule and a generated schedule may not be possible again based on the new structure if it is not properly set.

The minor leagues had 2 teams added to them to match the 2 MLB expanded teams.

Seems odd that the basic league expansion wouldn't take this into account.

I did the same thing on OOTP16 and did not run into this problem.

So I need to find a schedule some where that matches the number of teams for each of the minor leagues that had teams added to them?

Or am I doing something completely wrong when it comes to expanding the league?

File a bug report showing the difference between versions. Given that a solution should be easier to get.

It must match the divisional structure too. Especially even and odd number of teams.

Consider a 4T4D league. It could have 2 sub-leagues (conferences) or maybe not. If you add a team to 2 divisions it may make a balanced sched impossible. If the addition is across conferences then inter-league play is mandatory and a balanced schedule not possible.

I'm not an expert so take my comments with some salt boulders.

I had a very similar situation occur only it was my major league team that didn't get the schedule. I'm like ten games in and still have a 0-0 record with both expansion teams.

Solved this. I didn't realize that each individual minor league has it's own settings. I thought it was just the MLB league. Once I changed the settings for each minor league, I could generate a correct schedule.
