Historical-2 bugs
Created historical league 1901. Did not import history. Under league functions erased service time, career stats, etc.. Started league with inaugural draft.
1. Went to available personnel and some personnel were listed as available even though they are players on other teams. I was able to sign Fred Clarke as the manager for my team even though he plays for another team. Jimmy Collins and some others were listed as available even though they are players on teams. 2. 1901 all players started season with zero career states as expected. 1902 comes around and their are now a few players on teams who missed 1901 IRL, this was expected but their career stats/service time did not start out as zeros, their career stats for my league is showing their IRL stats up to that point. For example, It's now 1903 and Jimmy Ryan is showing up on leader board with 2400 hits and Nap Lajoie is second with 400 hits. Went to Ryan's profile and it's showing 16 years service time. There are a few other players that missed 1901 but showed up in 1902 with their Real Stats as their career stats in my league. |

#1) A player career and a manager career are not currently linked in game even though they are the same person.

Yes, I have players miss seasons and retire according to history selected. Players that missed 1901 IRL that have a previous history IRL (like Jimmy Ryan) and played in 1902(or later) show up in 1902 or whatever year they actually came back IRL. The problem is that these few players are showing career stats (based on their Real Life stats) for my league although they are just starting in my league. These and all players do miss season and retire according to their Real Life careers.
It "bugs" me that my league started in 1901 and it's now 1903 and it shows Jimmy Ryan leading the league with 2500 hits with Nap Lajoie second with 400 hits. It shows Fred Klobedanz leading the league in HRs allowed (33). In Real Life he played from 1896-1899 (giving up 33 HRs), missed 1900 and 1901 and then played 1902 IRL and Retired. For my league he was drafted following the 1901 season and retired following 1902, just like expected bot when I go to his page, it shows his RL stats for 1896-1899 and shows his stats for 1902 based on what he did in my league and for his career totals, it combines both. His service time shows 4 years (IRL he played partial years in 1896 and 1899). I don't have this problem with players that played in 1901 or had their inaugural start later. It's just those few players who IRL played in the 1800s, missed 1901 and then re-entered the league later on. When creating the league I did not select import complete history and went to league settings and erased service time and career stats of all players when I created the league. |

I've played this way in the past (version 15 and 16) and didn't have this issue. Oh well.
Thanks for your feedback though. |
