clamel All Star Starter Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Across the Pond Posts: 1,038	All-Star game strange stuff I got a historical game going in 1987. First All-Star game came up with TWO strange thing, BUGS or What ?? Roger Clemens was issued as starter for AL, but when the game got going he was just gone and Ted Higuera started. No injury or nothing in news after the game. Very strange Then I think this MUST be a bug. Both starters pitched ONLY 1 inning even if Higuera only gave up 1 hit and Dwight Gooden gave up nothing. Surely they should have been on even in the 2nd innings. The AI have been known to handle AS strange in other ways and this might be just another weird thing.
