Imported League and Minor League Players
Hello All,
Just to let you know I have been around since OOTP2 and have been pretty good at figuring out the nuances in each new versions of OOTP, but this year I am really confused about the minor league players. I have read threads on the forums for 2 hours and am still confused, so I thought I would start a new thread and throw caution into the wind with those who say, "search the forum" or "uugh! Someone has already asked that." 1) If I import a historical league from 16 to 17 and I have historic drafts will the drafts now include the minor leaguers who never made it? 2) If I have to make a brand new league do I have to use the historic minor league setup to use the minor league database in drafts? I have additional questions, but will wait for these basic questions before I ask more. Thanks in advance, Dave |

you must start a new game to have the historical minors appear in 17. i do not believe you can import a game from 16, or start your own minors in 17and have the game kick in the historical minors in 1919. i do not know if the historical minor league players will be present in a database if you don't have the historical minor league system checked .... i'll find that out when i get some other stuff out of the way and restart my game in a couple weeks. not certain to answer #2 for you.
