Sim Speed is Incredibly Slow

League is setup as Real World Game with all leagues added + 2 fictional major leagues (30 team and 12 team) with 5 levels of minors. No feeders. League takes approximately 35-40 seconds to sim one day March 18-March 23 tested on this. Please read below as a massive leagues was only taking 15-20 seconds simulating 400 games a day.

I have zipped up the league files and sent via FTP. File Name: MyLeagueNoFeeds.7z

I also have a massive 1130 team league with the same as mentioned above plus a 274 team high school. 96 team high school, 114 team college, 26 team college. In this league all was going OK typically 20-25 seconds to day sim until post amatuer draft. Then sim times increased to no less than 10 minutes sometimes up to 15 minutes per day. Please let me know if you would like these league files as well. Thanks.

Running version 17.4 Build 37 (HOT FIX)
Windows 7 with 8GB RAM.

EDIT: A few other points

Sometimes clicking on the Front Office Tab will take 10 seconds to open it. Sim speed very good prior to installing HOT FIX. Also there was no screen switching delays like I am seeing on the Front Office Tab. let me know if there is any other info you might need.

OK, something is borked in that league. It lists as having 395 leagues in there, most deleted. Still, this slows down the game a lot.

Also, it is early in the season and still lots of FA movements going on for independent and international leagues, so it is naturally slow. However, here it takes just 4 seconds to sim one day with the file you uploaded, so probably something on your system slows it down. Try disabling virus scanners in the background adn shut everything else down.

Also, try this:

Go to the game setup, database tab, and in the "Database Tools" menu there, select "purge deleted records from database".That could help.

I did some testing and improved a few things. Please try again with the patch we'll release on Sunday.

Awesome Markus I will that a try. What I did was imported a template for the feeders. Manually created a feeder under the MLB, deleted the teams, then individually moved all teams into the template leave into the actually feeder. Long process. I'd suggest a feature to import template as feeder to a league. Would save about 4 or more hours on my end. Haha.

Markus,
I'd like to elaborate on this a little more because I think I have figured it out a bit. I believe the slow down was due to my player skill levels across all my indy ML and indy leagues in general.

My universe design is such that my independant major leagues (US - 30 team 5 levels of minors and a Canadian league 24 teams with 4 levels of minors) both operate without an amatuer draft. The idea is that following the MLB draft, fed by 274 team US high school, 114 team US College, 26 team Canadian College, 96 team Canadian minor baseball, and a 16 team Puerto Rico high school, the remaining players are then picked up by these leagues to continue playing. Where the slow down probably developed was the fact that my player PCM's coming out of the draft were superior to the player PCM's in the indy major leagues. Therefore these teams were doing whole sale changes to increase the overall talent levels of their teams.

I have proceeded through to 2017 now and speed levels have increased back to what I would call acceptable for this league size. The indy leagues have not started yet but player movement activity has lowered and teams seem to be happy with there talent. I hope this helps as a possible explanation to others that may have this issue

I still would rather enjoy a import template as a feeder option in the future!
