Historical import Record issues

No, this is working as designed. The game automatically imports players who missed years.

Please reconsider this.
Was very much looking forward to playing historical this year with the new minors but this is a game-breaker for me. When I uncheck "Import Complete History", it's because I want a league with no history. Importing players who missed seasons would be fine, just remove their history! They played those games in a parallel universe, not the one I'm making. It makes zero sense that my league whose initial season is 1950 should have records which were set in the 1930's. The league did not exist! This is the worst sort of time-travel paradox. |

Also, the combination of wiping history via the historical league creation wizard and using real minors seems buggy in general. I have noticed that while the league history is empty at creation, the players each retain their personal stats. I am forced to use the league functions to erase the history, which is redundant, or would be, if I were still trying to play historical. But I'm not right now, because it's kinda wonky.
