Does pitch-around function really work
In my 1970 replay, I faced Johnny Bench in the playoffs in a critical situation and decided to use the pitch around function since first base was open. He ended up hitting a three-run homer.
Isn't this exactly what the pitch-around function is supposed to avoid? |

Yes, it works. Mostly. Like every other strategy.

If it worked 100% of the time, it'd be a bit overpowered don't you think? Might as well intentionally walk him.
