Custom League, Real Players?

Greetings,

I am trying to setup a league with a fictional structure, and teams, but real players from the 2015 season. Is there a way to have a custom fictional league structure using real MLB players? According to "Create Fictional League" description in the League Setup Wizard screen, "Players are real, historical, or entirely fictional", but, I am not presented an option during setup to use real players, it ends up using fictional players when setup is complete.

Another option I tried was using a historical league using 2015 players, but there is no way to modify league structure or team names.

Just Randomize Teams City and Name in Historical League.

you can certainly do what you want. Create your 2015 Historical league. Go to the game menu, go to game settings, go to league settings

(You may have to be in commissioner mode to do this)

In the middle column 2nd from the top is edit league structure

From here you can rename teams, change divisions, subleagues etc.... You can also add teams to the league from this page (Fictional or Historical)

This is the fastest way to accomplish your goal iirc

Thanks so much for the help. I tried the Historical League suggested but, I guess I am missing something. It appears you cannot edit league structure in a standard or historical league (see attached screenshot).

I am wanting to create a custom league structure (custom numbers of leagues, divisions and number of teams in those division) not simply rename an existing real MLB league structure.

Along the OP's lines, is it possible for me to start my fictional league with real players from 1994?
