From my fictional MLB history that I play as spectator.

Although they fell to the Cubs in game 7 of the World Series (identical 104-58 records), the 2035 Red Sox were quite possibly the best hitting team I've ever seen. Boston GM David Christensen has been with the Sox for 9 seasons now (8 playoff appearances) and although he has yet to win the Pennant, he has built a machine.

There is one nickname that i would call this team that comes to mind but is totally inappropriate so i am not gonna say it.

They've lost Julio Lomeli to free agency in the off-season (signed with the Tigers) so that takes away perhaps the best hitter in all of baseball the past couple of seasons, although he missed most of 2034, he had a nice bounce back 2035.

They used Lomeli's money to sign a 3B from Taiwan who declared himself available to MLB teams in the off-season. Looks to be a fantastic defensive player with decent power, but I doubt he will be able to replace Lomeli's bat. Guess we will see.

Following stories like these is why I love spectator mode.

I currently use 2011 as my base season. I was using the default 2015 for awhile (started this in OOTP16) but wanted a bit more offense so I switched it to 2011. Power numbers are now a bit higher and the average batting average is now around .260 rather than .250.
