2016 Carolina League Schedule?

How many games do the teams play 140 or 142. I was messing with the schedule editor and some teams have 142 games while the others have 140.

Is there a list somewhere of how many league games do the Minor Leagues schedule per League?

Should be 140, unless the league changed its schedule length (which is unlikely).

I'm glad that the folks who run the American Hockey League don't run Minor League Baseball because teams would play different amount of games in each separate League.

Speaking of Minor League Baseball just renewed MiLBTV. Some of the games are unwatchable-Las Vegas 51s has one camera that sets between home plate and first base. A lot of teams don't broadcast in HD. Maybe one day they will be on Roku because it's not exactly fun sitting in front of a computer and watching baseball(unless it's OOTP17).

Minor league schedules are, in most cases, horribly unbalanced. Even play within a club's own division can feature a varying number of games against each divisional opponent, and the home-away splits of said season series can be wildly uneven.

Well it could be argued that the actual result of the games and the wins and losses do not really matter.
Those teams are simply development teams for the major league team.

Of course you want your players to have a competitive mindset and you want your minor league staffs to try and push their players.
But even the most hardcore baseball fans can not rattle off who won the last 10 PCL championships.

In the grand scheme of things, things like unbalanced schedules are not that important when the actual wins and losses are not the ultimate goal.

Why don't you cast the computer screen to your TV?

I confirmed this earlier today: it's 140 games, at least according to the daily league schedule over at MILB.com. Whether the error is yours or in the schedule file included with OOTP17 I cannot say.

When the schedules look like the number of matchups against each opponent were drawn out of a hat, it doesn't do much for the idea of equitable competition. (Even the independent leagues often have weird schedules.)

Of the ten full-season leagues, only three have schedules which can be considered 'ordered', that is, the number of games against opponents makes sense. The remaining seven leagues have schedules which are 'chaotic', with the range being from mildly chaotic to heavily chaotic.

Moreover, the trend has been towards chaotic schedules. The Eastern League used to have a firm schedule format, then about seven or eight years ago abandoned it. The Carolina League used to play a fully balanced schedule, but within the last year or two it has abandoned it in favour of a chaotic arrangement of opponent matchups.

Yeah I do that all the time(HDMI cable) when I want too watch something that isn't available on Roku. NWA Classics 24/7 is another one that has yet to make it too Roku.
