Lightbulb Patch #1 coming Saturday!

Hey folks,

we will release patch #1 to the public on Saturday Here is the current changelist:

- Improved 2016 MLB roster sets (need to start new game for changes to apply)
- Greatly improved quality for included real MLBPA FaceGen images
- Improved simulation speed (dramatic improvements for some older systems)
- Added a new quickstart "MLB 2016" which only includes the MLB plus the affiliated minor leagues
- Fixed bug where wrong players were imported automatically in random debut historical leagues
- Fixed problem with international leagues signing too many foreign free agents despite foreigner limit
- Fixed some issues in the historical databases
- Improved 3D gameplay bounces
- Improved player opt-out logic
- Fixed bug with special characters in directory path (could not save database file)
- Fixed several small bugs and cosmetic issues

Happy Easter Holidays!
Markus

Markus any chance at some point we could gain (I';m not really sure what to call this) the ability to keep the scroll at the same point when moving from window to window. For instance when looking at the minor league development report and promoting/demoting players every time I do so, even if I right click, I still find myself back at the top of the page.

Any chance we could lock the scroll so it stays at the same point?

I'm not tech saavy at all so I don't know if I correctly explained this or how difficult it would be to utilize it.

Should I upload my game?It is very small since it was the first day of a new fictional league. It kept kicking me into the Add On Central.

Outside of Steam it worked.

I think the issue was I have a player that is not on the 40 man roster, still on the ST roster that caused the issue. Works now!

On some screens this works, for others it is hard to do unfortunately.

Fixed the scroll bar size already? Wow!

As I stated in my original thread, you fix issues faster than I can followup to check the status of my original report. I just posted my reply in the original thread, refreshed the forum screen and found this message indicating the issue was fixed.

Please keep up the amazing support!

Thanks,
Tim

As amazing as OOTP the game is, the support staff and community is 10x better.

Thank you guys for updating the game so quickly and the community for consistently troubleshooting the game. I know from experience that that really pushes the makers of a product.

Thanks guys, we're doing out best.

Tonight we'll go out to dinner with the company and have some good wine, plenty of beer and later a (dance-)riot at the Irish pub, haha. So, I'm off for today, CU tomorrow

Cheers,
Markus

Markus,

Are you able to import minor league players without the minor league structure? You may be able to do it now before the patch, just hoping you'll see this and give a quick answer. My thread has fallen to the second page of this forum.

Post blackmail pics please. One of Matt Arnold passed out on a bar stool should be worth a few bucks!

I wonder if this in some way could be related to my issue with baseball cards for players with accented characters in their name not showing up?

Nah, that's not very likely. One of me throwing up outside somewhere - that might happen
