Skins question 2

Seeing the old skins won't work, does anybody know how to add them.
I do not like the three skins that come with the game, I am hoping Markus can add a few more choices with the next patch, It is the only thing about 17 I don't like, other than skins I can't find anything else
that I don't like. Thanks in advance for your input.

I'm wondering, what exactly don't you like about the new skins? I think they are sooooo much better than the OOTP 16 ones. But, it's hard to argue about taste I suppose

I agree. I don't like any of the new skins.

Maybe my first try in an own skin are more of your taste

I don't like the color combinations, I am using the classic woodgrain but
that's only because its the best of the three. I'm a senior so it could
just be my old eyes....

to me they are just skins. i prefer to wood grain to the others. if there were others, i'd try them possibly, but this one works and it's the game i like. still muddling with historic and figuring how to manage no minors until 1919 and beyond. But the skins? They are OK.

I like wood grain also. It would look better to me.

In file- settings set these to "no" semi transparent background, use team color for interface controls and team text color on labels this makes it much cleaner looking and easier to read.
I feel the ootp 17 skin with those options off is just as good as last year.

There are some teams that have bad combinations of colors like dark blue with red text color, for those you may need to change the text color to white to make it easier to read.

As a person who is color blind, (ten percent of males are), dark themes are all I use everywhere, if they are available. This years dark theme has white.
The white contrasts very harsh on black/deep blue backgrounds. All that white really tires the eyes when using a dark theme, especially after using OOTP for a lot of hours in a row.
Not that I do that .. ..

On 16's dark theme, everything is nicely muted. Now, after using 17's dark theme for a few more days,
I will say it is nice and crisp.
And despite what I might have said in a previous post, I do like it for that reason,. But that white, like on the pitching and line-up screens, is really overbearing for a 'dark' theme.
Thankfully, the screens 'in-game' are void of it.
