AWESOME GAME...questions
For many years I would buy OOTP and work with it for a month or so and finally give up trying to play a season and update rosters etc. I continued to play from time to time with pstrickert's & others World Series setups. But it wasn't #1 in my gaming.
Well...OOTP16 when I got Win10 with the good male announcer a month or so ago started to change that. And then BOOM...here comes OOTP17!! My #1 game now. So sharp...3D is so cool with the good announcer. A couple of nights ago I was thinking of an exciting late inning game I had played and would you believe it...instead of thinking of the play calls and what happened...my old brain displayed a clear picture of the winning hit bouncing between the CF & RF little guys and rolling near the wall and the throw to home that was too late!! Unreal...a clear visual recall. : ) Having a terrific WSeries play with the 2004 BRS and my 2005 CWS. Still have a lot to learn but I am so hooked I'm having trouble doing my sweetheart's 'to-do' list and working in the yard for spring. : ) Do have a screen view question. On my 32" Samsung I can't get the ballpark to have a full screen view. At least not til last night. I keep working on it so I did the wide screen auto setup. Wow! That's what I want. Stadium is full screen with stat boxes to L/R in the stands. Perfect. Except for one thing. I can only get it to work in auto setup. But it won't allow me to move the stat boxes around and I want the expanded stats and of course it won't allow that. I keep trying but can't figure out how to get the game full-screen while still allowing me to pick my stat boxes etc. Is it possible to get what I want on this? The little pawns are about 4 times bigger in this full screen mode. It is so sharp. Appreciate your time. Sorry I keep bothering the forums with questions. OOTP17...TOTALLY SPLENDID PC BASEBALL GAME !!

I guess I have never played a game with the 3D function or heard any announcers. How does this process work, and viewed/setup from? I simulate most of the games.

Don't have the game open at the moment but I think if you select full screen on the option and set it to center align that should do the trick. I'll check later if not as I have it full screen in mine and have added the extra stat boxes

What happens when you choose Full Screen and Auto-Fit?

That's the one I have it on, thanks pstickert. Auto Fit, not Auto Center. Then you can add or remove and move around any of the other widgets and the 3d stadium is full screen
Here's how mine looks skunkle333 with full screen and auto center on Last edited by Matt Uk; 03-23-2016 at 10:05 AM. |

Wow! Thanks so much fellas.
Got it! Looks great except the text size I guess I need to change because the expanded etc doesn't stay in the stands and I'm using good ol' Fenway park. Still looks great...just have to slide boxes half off screen. I want Matt's pic on my pc : ) Gotta run and get grandsons cause school out early but when I get back...I'll work on text. Your time and help fellas is very much appreciated. This game is fantastic...

You're welcome. I found on some stadiums you can go in on wide view and the boxes don't cover any of the playing field but on others, like Wrigley there, I had to come out to default view to not block any view of the playing field.

Matt...
Ok...I picked the smallest size fonts at opening Settings and game Options but the size on the game screen did not change. But I can move the stat boxes around. If you see this I was wondering what your monitor screen resolution is. Was wondering if that would solve my problem. Your screen pic looks perfect but while I can move them the print is still too big for regular placement. Thanks...
