Unable to import individual historical minor league players from the historical_minor_database.odb

I encountered this problem with the Beta version and it seems to have carried over. Trying to import individual minor league players from the historical minors database always ends in failure because there aren't enough allowable character spaces in the search field. The search field is limited to 10 spaces, whereas the ID's for the historical minor league players I've been trying to import all contain 12 characters.Example:

Brien Taylor: DB ID# = taylor002bri (12 characters)
What the search field will allow: taylor002b (10 characters)

I know there's a manual workaround, but it would be nice if we could directly import historical minor league players like we can with historical major league players as well.

Yes, the individual import of minor league palyers is not yet supported. We'll add that in a later update

Great, thanks! That's something to look forward to.

Historical Minor League Database

I just wanted to echo that. Thanks for adding the minor league database and I very much look forward to being able to import individual minor league players into my game(s). What years will/does the db cover and is it only affiliated leagues?

All lgs that had at least 1 affiliated team from 1919-present
Some lgs. that only had 1 affiliated team, also have the non affiliated teams.
there's still a handful of lgs. that need to be added just as soon as I can get the data scraped.

Can you share the manual workaround? Is it the text file import, or something else?
