I know I am missing this

I like to start my game in like 1980 and sim to like 1994 or so and then take over a team. I like to see OOTP created numbers that are similar to historical, but not exact historical. However I like when I start in 1994 that the rosters be the exact rosters of that time.

Is there a way to sim like this with only the trades that happen in real life? And then turn it off when I start?

I know it is here but I am blind

Also not to start a new thread for nothing? Since we have MLBPA license is there no way to get historical facegens?

If there is how do I do this?

Nope, historical players have nothing to do with the MLBPA. Maybe there is a mod for this somewhere...

Ok am I missing a feature where game simulates with real trades and real lineups and no differences so when I take over the roster are the same?

The best place I would think you would find this would be in Options under League Settings I believe I don't play real leagues.
