Is this screen the same in 17 as in 16?

I would say that this year's version looks a lot like last year's version.

The reason I am asking is because the strategy that a manager uses when down by 3 runs is vastly different that when ahead by 3 runs, no matter what the inning is and in just about every area of the game. So, I guess my next question would be : Is there an external application that can read and modify the strategy (.str) files?

Keep in mind that everything on there is relative to the general usage you would see in a situation. So if you bump bunting up to the max, you're still not going to be bunting when down by 3 runs in the 9th

Ok, I would still like to tinker and experiment and see the effects of big or small changes over extended periods of time. Is there an application, like notepad++ (which doesn't work, already tried it) that can view and modify the .str files?

Also, in the future, I personally would like to see more control available over the decisions that managers make in all possible situations. Again, I like tinkering and experimenting and want more control.
