Real Players show up as free agents in ficitional league
Finished my fictional league 1929. I always start a league at 1901 and use subsequent numbers. So I am in my 29th fictional year( since OOTP5) I just finished game seven of world series in ootp 16. Advanced to next day with 17, and noticed in the off season center that teams were negotiating with Babe Ruth. Looked at my free agents and it appeared that real life players from 1929 were now intermingled with my fictional free agents. I always had no problems with imports to newer versions of OOTP. I didn't see anything different in the league setup. I had to manually delete hundreds of players from 1929. Do I have to do something different to use a fictional league that use real historic dates or is this a bug?

This happened in a historical league for me as well. I tried replaying 2014 (wanted to try to avoid the Red Sox first to worst debacle, and keep them from signing Sandoval and Hanley) but there were a bunch of free agents who should have been assigned to teams. I noticed Matt Harvey and Jose Iglesias among others.

Thank you Markus, The OOTP team continue to be the best at supporting their product. That is one reason why I will continue to support this great program.
