Playoff Roster Not Handling Injuries Properly
Here's the scenario. Managing the 36 Indians. 1B Hal Trosky is injured on Sept 14 and will miss the playoffs. I placed him on the DL. I go to set the playoff roster and try to have Oscar Grimes replace him (he was on the 40 man roster all season long, even spent 24 days with the big club) and he is not allowed on the playoff roster. The game gives me a popup that says only players on the 40 man roster during roster expansion can replace injured players. Grimes was on the 40 man the whole season. I believe v16 fixed this problem, but it's back in v17.

I don't believe we have changed anything here. Was Grimes hurt at all during the season?

Grimes was in AAA, but on the 40-man. It was Trosky who got hurt in September to miss the playoffs. The game wouldn't let me get anyone off the 40-man to replace him, despite telling me I could replace him with someone who was on the 40-man during roster expansion.
