Starting A Historical Game Before 1920
I noticed when setting up a historical game, there was no option for real minors prior to 1920. The question I have is, if I start a league pre-1920, will the game take the proper steps and create each historical minor league affiliate from there on out, or, if I start pre-1920 am I just screwed on the historical minors feature?

You can enable it in the league setup (historical tab) and once you hit 1919 it will import the minors automatically. At least in theory

OK, exactly how is this done? I created a 1918 league and on Step 2 of the Historical Creation Wizard, I clicked on all five minor leagues, which were duly created with fictional teams. The Texas League did not arrive in 1919, however. So, the next time I created a 1918 league, I didn't check off the minor leagues in Step 2. No Texas League in 1919, though. The "import real minor leagues" option doesn't exist before 1919. Thoughts?

When you advance, it will automatically import real historical minors every year. |
