Default Aging/Development Settings

Has the default changed or is a 1.000 the same as a 1.000 in 16?

Hmmm..a simple, yet complex, question. Yes, the defaults are 1.000, just as 16, but IIRC yield a more precise and realistic arc at default, still able to be adjusted, of course, to your preference. All this in tandem with your use or non-use, altering the talent change randomness setting. 100 is still the default there, too.

Guess I should add, FWIW, I set my pitchers a tad higher on both, e.g. 1.100 and batters a tad lower, 0.950, but that's me.

So does 1.100 mean players will have a longer "prime" before their drop?

Depends on which category. 1.100 develops a bit more quickly, .950 ages a bit more slowly, for instance.
