Screen too small???

When I installed the message said 'screen size too small', or something to that effect. I have a new HP Spectre PC 12' corner to corner. Is there a way around this? Screenshot is what I see but mouse clicks cannot initiate any response. Thanks.

ootp 16 displays fine on this pc

I was able to make some changes in my settings folder (outside of ootp) that allowed me to input game key and get the game up and running.
