Am I missing something or is this still happening?

I thought this year if I played in "General Manager Mode" I could over-ride my manager's lineup and pitching staff selections. However, in the "Control & Auto Play Settings" page I am locked out from changing the fact the
manager controls the line up and pitching staff?

Love, love, love OOTP but this is one of the worst most frustrating features. I want to play as a GM, hire and fire my managers but be able to set the lineups and picthing staff myself.

Go to Game>Game Settings>Global Settings

Check the box for "GM only users are always in control of lineups (legacy mode)

This was something a lot of us wanted for online leagues, where we like to have a "manager" per se, but still want final control of lineups and pitching staffs.

Just another option that's now available, as they say: "OOTP: Play it your way!"
