Bonanza of new players?

Is it me or does it seem like we have a rather large influx of new OOTP players coming out of the woodwork with the new OOTP 17. This is great news for Markus and company. Any data on how many new users there are that have purchased the new game ?

Can't wait to get home and download the game !

Well, I am one of them. I heard about it with the OOTP sponsorship with Fangraphs podcast of The Sleeper and The Bust. If I have run across this game in years past, I forgot quickly about it. Also, I'm not a gamer. The investment cost of this game is right up my alley since its only $40 rather than buying a game console + the game as well.

I am one as well. Got interested during the World Series sale a few months back and OOTP 16 got me hooked. With no decent baseball to play on my Xbox, my laptop makes a nice on-the-go option. I love the community here already and look forward to swapping stories. Not quite ready for an online dynasty yet... let me learn the ropes a little more first.

I'm new to OOTP as well. No baseball game on xbox got me looking. I used to play Statis Pro waaaay back in the day and saw they have a PC version now. After all my research, the choice to go with OOTP was an easy home run. 😉

I'm not a fan of steam myself, but it has no doubt lead to additional exposure to the great game this company puts out each year.
